Shaheed Rajguru Biography
Born 24 August 1908
Rajguru was born in a Deshatha Brahmin family on 24 August 1908 in a village called Khed (currently Rajguru Nagar) near Pune.
He lost his father at the age of just 6 years.
After the death of his father, he came to study Varanasi and learn Sanskrit.
Hindustan Socialist Republican Army
There was a desire to join Jang-e-Azadi inside the Rajguru since childhood. While studying in Varanasi, Rajguru got in touch with many revolutionaries. Chandrashekhar was so much influenced by Azad that his party immediately joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army, when he was only 16 years old. The main objective of his and his comrades was to create fear in the minds of British officers. At the same time, he used to roam around and awaken the people and awaken them to war.
Contrary to Mahatma Gandhi's views
Rajguru wanted to achieve independence on the strength of arms in a revolutionary way, many of his ideas did not match the views of Mahatma Gandhi. Within Azad's party, he was known by the pseudonym of Raghunath; Not in the name of Rajguru. Revolutionaries like Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh and Yatindranath Das were his integral friends. Rajguru was also a good shooter.
Sanders assassinated on 19 December 1928
On 19 December 1928, Rajguru, along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev, killed British police officer JP Saunders. The incident was actually a revenge for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, who died while opposing the Simon Commission. Thereafter, the Rajguru had a major hand in attacking the Central Assembly in Delhi on 8 April 1929. The fear of Rajguru, Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev was so much dominated by the British administration that the police had to conduct a special operation to capture these three.

Hanged on 23 March 1931
Rajguru hid in Nagpur after the murder of an arrested police officer en route to Pune. There he took refuge at the house of the RSS worker. At the same time, he met Dr. KB Hedgewar, with whom Rajguru planned ahead. The police arrested him before he proceeded to Pune. He was hanged on 23 March 1931 along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev. The three were cremated at Hussainwala on the banks of the Sutlej River in Firozpur district of Punjab.
