Political Journey


Shinzo Abe also held the post of Prime Minister of Japan from 2006 to 2007 in the past. Abe is the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Oyagaku Propulsion Parliamentary Group. When Abe was elected to the post of Prime Minister for the first time in a special session of the National Parliament of Japan (Diet) on 26 September 2006, he became the youngest Prime Minister of Japan, post World War II.
